Theatre
My professional debut was at the Edinburgh Festival in Sue Limb’s "The Wordsmiths at Gorsemere" playing Stinking Iris, the one-eyed cleavage-spilling maid. It was a gift of a comedy role. I had just left university and was working on instinct. I trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts from 1996-9 and have worked in a variety of genres since. Theatre is my first love. There is no subsitute for the live connection we feel with an audience. I spent many years working with John Calder’s Godot Company playing most of the female parts in Beckett. I have been a leading lady in weekly Rep, rehearsing a three-act dialogue-heavy play while performing another eight times a week. I’ve worked on Shakespeare, the Greeks, Pinter, Coward, Ayckbourn, Cooney and some wonderful new writers. Some people think I’m funny.

I am a highly experienced reader and take part in many table reads. If you need a script bringing to life for producers, get in touch. A regular reader at John Calder’s salons at his bookshop. I have worked with some of the UK’s finest actors in the Godot Company, performing Samuel Beckett’s canon and everything from Shakespeare to Wilde. I can also read in French.
